System Certification

In today’s conditions, great developments in information, technology and communication are dragging societies into a cutthroat competition and an economic race where new developments are experienced every day. The globalization of world trade has expanded the scope and classes of competition, and the number of participants in the race has gradually increased. Moreover, the participants in this race are becoming more and more qualified with each passing day. Customers have become more conscious, more knowledgeable, and customer expectations have reached the highest level. It is not enough to meet customer expectations anymore, it is necessary to go beyond customer expectations.

In addition to these, the necessity of establishing and operating the necessary management systems has emerged in order to be prepared for some applications that have been made compulsory in many companies due to the relevant legislation and legal conditions. In addition, certain management systems certificates have been made mandatory in some sectors.

Not only quality products are among the customer expectations; Companies that respect people, employees and the environment have become the reason for preference. Today’s consumers not only want their expectations and needs to be met at the highest level, but also demand that they, the environment they live in, people and their world be valued and respected.

CE Certification
The letters ‘CE’ appear on many products traded on the extended Single Market in the European Economic Area (EEA). They signify that products sold in the EEA have been assessed to meet high safety, health, and environmental protection requirements. When you buy a new phone, a teddy bear, or a TV within the EEA, you can find the CE mark on them. CE marking also supports fair competition by holding all companies accountable to the same rules. By affixing the CE marking to a product, a manufacturer declares that the product meets all the legal requirements for CE marking and can be sold throughout the EEA. This also applies to products made in other countries that are sold in the EEA. CE mark is a Union mark that shows that the products covered by the New Approach Directives prepared within the scope of the New Approach Policy adopted by the European Union in 1985 within the framework of technical legislation harmonization are in compliance with these directives and have passed all the necessary conformity assessment activities. CE mark is a sign that shows that if the products are used in accordance with their intended purpose, they will not harm human life and property, the existence of plants and animals and the environment, in other words, the product is a safe product. If a product to be sold in the European Union market is covered by one or more of the European Union Directives, it is a legal obligation to bear the CE Mark. The “CE” Brand is named after the initials of the French words “Conformité Européene” meaning “European Conformity”. This regulation obliges the manufacturers to use the CE mark on the products, on their packaging and on all kinds of documents about the product. European Union, New Approach, Global and Modular Approach Directives Below is a list of Directives prepared and published within the scope of the New Approach Policy, which plays an important role in the EU’s achievement of the Single Market target and constitutes one of the cornerstones of technical harmonization. The Directives (legislation) developed within the scope of this policy first started to be published in 1987 and have reached approximately 25 until today. These Directives have two main purposes. The first is to ensure the free movement of goods in the Internal Market and, secondly, to ensure the highest possible level of protection while performing the first. The common point of these Directives is the basic requirements that must be harmonized and implemented, the definition of conformity assessment processes and the use of the CE Mark. The EU’s standardization bodies are tasked with preparing technical specifications that will demonstrate compliance with this legislation in a single method. The CE Certificate (Mark) is required for all products manufactured in the European Union and covered by one or more of the EU Directives, as well as for products in non-EU countries to be sold within the EU. For this reason, the CE Certificate (Mark) is also a “Passport” for products manufactured outside the EU. CE certification as it has been called since 1993 (according to Directive 93/68 / EEC) (DECISION No 768/2008 / EC), formerly called EC certification, is a mandatory certification for products placed on the market in the European Economic Area ( European Economic Area – EEA). By affixing the CE marking to a product, the manufacturer declares that the product complies with the essential requirements of the applicable European Community (EC) Directives. The same applies to products manufactured outside the European Community but placed on the market. The Regulation EU 305/2011 laying down harmonized conditions for the marketing of construction products adopted on 9 to March 2011 by the European Parliament and the Council of the EU and entered into full force on 1 to July of 2013. “Product of the construction sector” is defined as any product or combination of products produced and placed on the market for permanent integration in structures or parts thereof, the performance of which affects the performance of the structures in relation to the essential requirements of the structures. Certification Benefits:
  • CE Mark ensures the free movement and marketing of the product in EU countries,
  • Industrialists are obliged to put the “CE” mark on the product in order to market their products at national and international level,
